An Adult Story

Meeting new people and dating has never exactly been one of my strong points as i have always been quite a shy type of person. I never really had that many girlfriends in school as I was always afraid of them saying no so I never bothered to ask them out and when i left school i guess that feeling just stuck with me.

After a few years I had decided that i had had enough of being single so i joined up as a member of a dating service that was available in my home town and they would help me out with my confidence as well as find women that shared similar interests as me. It actually took me quite a while to actually go and register with them as I kept booking appointments and then deciding against it while walking there. I managed to finally make my appointment one morning and they greeted me at the door and then led me through to a little office where I sat down in the most uncomfortable chair ever. The dating service worker then started taking details from me about my lifestyle and my interests and tried to find out what i would be looking for in a woman. I gave all the answers and was so glad when he told me that the meeting was over. He said that when somebody that fits my needs comes up then he would give me a call to see if i would be interested in meeting up with the woman.

I had no answer from the dating service for over 2 months and i was beginning to wonder if I ever would but then one day when i got home from work my flat mate told me that the dating service had called and that they wanted me to call back. I had something to eat and then gave them a call to find out what was happening. The man on the other end told me that he had found someone for me which i agreed very hesitantly to meet. We met in a local bar and i found it so easy to talk to her, it was almost as if I had known her my whole life. We sat chatting as I reached out and started slowly caressing the back of her hand. She was a great woman and even to this day i love her laugh when i sit and tickle her feet.
